Academy Vision and Values

Trust Vision

To ensure that all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

Academy Vision and Values

We are privileged to work in a community where we have a positive impact on children's lives and future every day. Our children are entitled to the best in education so they have the powerful knowledge and skills to compete at the highest level.

We will achieve this through expert teaching, underpinned by:

  • A well-sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum
  • Planning that takes into account research into cognitive science
  • Extending and enriching our pupils' vocabulary across and beyond the curriculum
  • Planning experiences that widen and enhance the curriculum, in and outside of school
  • A commitment to our own professional development

Our standards and expectations of behaviour are high.

We expect our school family to work hard, be kind and choose wisely - but how do we know that this happens?

Our values are underpinned by nine Academy Values, that allow our children to really understand what they mean.

Work Hard : Perseverance, Courage and Improvement

Be Kind: Patience, Respect and Compassion

Choose Wisely: Honesty, Self-Control and Politeness

All of our staff members encourage children to live these out, and we reward these behaviours in our Class Dojo rewards system.

We focus each week on one of our nine values and gather together for whole-school and class assemblies to really unpick what these values mean to us at Eton Park, and how we can live them out each and every day.

Our staff work incredibly hard to model and champion these behaviours, during every interaction with pupils, parents and members of the wider community.
