Year 5 have loved watching their caterpillars transform into butterflies as part of their Science unit. We released them into our garden and watched them fly away!

We had a wonderful afternoon showcasing our work at our very own exhibition. We were joined the Mayor, who loved exploring what we get up to at Eton Park.

The children really enjoyed learning about VE Day last week. Our whole school family came together for an afternoon tea party.

Year 4 have been working hard on their engineering project to make a moving train. Today, some lucky children attended the competition where their trains were judged on design and movement, and the children's understanding.

Year 5 have enjoyed pizza in the sun this week as part of their DT work. We designed, made and evaluated our pizza, whilst learning all about nutrition.

Year 5 had a fabulous trip to on Friday. We enjoyed a brilliant workshop where we explored the layers of the rainforest and thought about the animals that live there.

Year 4 have been participating in the Primary Engineer Rail Programme. We were visited by Joe from DB engineering in Derby to help us begin our build.

We had a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day. The children designed their own t-shirt based around reading, and completed lots of book inspired activities!
