School Vision and Values

Trust Vision

To ensure that all the children and young people in our care have the opportunity to fulfil their potential through achieving highly, regardless of their ability or background.

School Vision and Values

We are privileged to work in a community where we have a positive impact on children's lives and future every day. Our children are entitled to the best in education so they have the powerful knowledge and skills to compete at the highest level.

This will be achieved through expert teaching underpinned by:

  • A well-sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum
  • Planning that takes into account of research into cognitive science
  • Extending and enriching their vocabulary across and beyond the curriculum
  • Planning experiences that widen the children's knowledge base
  • Our commitment to our own development

Our standards and expectations of behaviour are high. We expect our school family to work hard, be kind and choose wisely - but how do we know that this happens?

Our values are underpinned by nine character values, that allow our children to really understand what they mean. All of our staff members encourage children to live these out, and we reward these beahviours in our Class Dojo rewards system.

We focus each week on one of our nine values and gather together for whole-school and class assemblies to really unpick what these values mean to us at Eton Park, and how we can live them out each and every day.

We had a great time celebrating Mother Language Day! It was great seeing so many demonstrating different languages and cultures through what they wore. We explored different languages, shared our spoken languages and understood the risk of some languages and cultures disappearing pic.twitter.com/YOqo2xumrM

This week the virtue we have been working on has been Compassion. What better way to show this than wearing spots raising money for and decorating a Pudsey bear with silver coins. Some year 5 girls also made their own bracelets to sell and raise money. Well done all! pic.twitter.com/13MkiGZio3
